Juicing is such a great way to boost the vitamins and nutrients in your diet! As a mom to picky kids, I am always looking for ways to sneak extra goodness into my kids meals. Freshly squeezed juice is the perfect way to do that!
Right now in New England, the air is starting to get crisp and if there’s one thing besides pumpkins that symbolizes fall for us, it’s apples. As soon as the weather starts to change, I know it’s time to pick apples, bake pies and make fresh apple juice!
Keep an eye out for some adorable pumpkin themed kids printable worksheets coming this week!
Every year for as long as I can remember, we have always spent at least one day getting lost in the endless rows of apple orchard trees, picking barrels full of apples. It is the perfect fall tradition and such a great way to spend quality time as a family.
My little guy, Mason
Nothing quite beats an apple that you’ve picked yourself, you really can’t get a fresher more flavorful apple. And the look on my kids faces as they dash around plucking armfulls of apples is just pure joy.
Do you pick fruit where you live? How about vegetables? I would love to hear from you in the comments section! Our favorites where we live are; blueberries, strawberries and peaches in the summer, pumpkins and apples in the fall.
Fresh apples make the most delicious well, everything. And even though I do love a warm baked apple pie from time to time, to get the most health benefits from your fruit it’s best to eat it raw. Or for a super boost, I love throwing together nutrient rich juices!
- Increased Vitamins and Minerals in Your Diet.
- Potential Weight Loss.
- Increased Energy.
- Decrease Inflammation and Reset Your Body.
- Protect Against Disease.
